It might be the darkest day of the year, but at least the winter solstice will also be bitterly cold . Overnight lows on Friday only drop to around 60°. Southaven Mayor Darren Musselwhite said Hale informed him Wednesday that he was resigning as Ward 2 alderman with the city. Hale was charged last month on a misdemeanor prostitution charge. Hale faces five to 20 years in prison and fines up to $250,000 if convicted. Hale was not at Tuesday night's Southaven Board of Aldermen meeting. Following his arrest for prostitution Hale was relieved of duty as a firefighter for the city of Memphis pending the outcome of the criminal investigation, ... (more...)

The Trump Organization, which licensed its name for the hotel, reportedly cut ties with the property last month. CIM Group and The Trump Organization did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A new sign will replace it eventually. Local news TV footage showed the stolen, red Ford Fusion being chased through downtown St. Louis by several police officers. He was pulled from the auto and put into one of the many St. Kriesmann said the chase involved two crashes, but no one was injured in either. The latest order if delivered will help the IAF in combating the depleting strength of fighter jets in its squadron, which now has only 33 fighter aircraft. The IAF now has 33 squadrons and if the French Rafale fighters and Tejas are inducted on schedule, without any other induction of fighters, the numbers will come down to 27 by 2032 and 19 by 2042.
