The younger man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, and the older man was taken to Stroger Hospital. The man took himself to Franciscan Health in Olympia Fields about 4:15 p.m., police said. China's quake administration said it was a magnitude 3.4 natural disaster and cited a "suspected explosion". All of North Korea's six nuclear tests registered as earthquakes of magnitude 4.3 or above. The quake was centred near North Korea's nuclear test site. Back in November of 2015, Charlie Tan's murder trial ended in a hung jury, and the charge was dismissed . Charles Tan is in federal custody, according to Assistant U.S. Authorities say Tan tried to buy that shotgun at a Walmart in Cortland, but was initially denied because he is a Canadian citizen. But Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley is quoted as saying her office is interested in how the federal prosecutors will move forward with their indictment. (more...)
