The US National Hurricane Center said Maria had maximum sustained winds of 120 mp/h overnight. The 11 AM forecast cone from the National Hurricane Center shows Jose reduced to a tropical storm by Wednesday . It's about 270 miles east-southeast of Cape Hatteras and 380 miles west of Bermuda. Rough surf and rip current risks remain high. This should be enough to turn Tropical Depression Lee into a remnant low. (more...)
