Low-priced airline Ryanair on Thursday lost an European Union court battle for the right to impose Irish labour laws on its cabin crew working elsewhere in Europe. The crew involved in the case had employment contracts drawn up under Irish law, which said their work was to be regarded as being carried out in Ireland since they were working on Irish-registered aircraft. It's not every day you get to report on a loose kangaroo in Wisconsin. Investigation revealed that the animal was indeed a kangaroo, according to a release issued by the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department. Malecki admitted it was one of the strangest cases he's ever heard of during his time on the force. Staff from the farm came out and safely retrieved Joey by picking him up by his tail. (more...)
