According to the ambassador, North Korea's increasing nuclear capacity always comes with the more threat to the peace and stability on the Korean Peninsular and beyond. Mexico also called for a peaceful resolution of the current crisis. It is far from clear whether the crushing package of sanctions could be passed given anticipated vetoes from China and Russian Federation, two of the Security Council's five permanent members. Freeman is in custody at the Hennepin County Jail on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide. Many others in law enforcement took to social media to express their sadness and support for their fallen comrade and his family. According to the Washington Post , Branson and his team weathered the storm safely in the wine cellar. Orange said prior to the hurricane landing that he planned to stay at the observatory during the storm. Branson said his company had made a donation to the British Red Cross and a Virgin Atlantic flight to Antigua on Thursday had brought in aid supplies including blankets and bottled water. (more...)
