The KCNA report said the missile was an intermediate-range Hwasong-12, which the North first successfully tested in May and threatened to fire into waters near Guam earlier this month. There will be some scepticism from experts about Pyongyang's assertion that it has mastered hydrogen technology. Also, a new area of interest in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico is being closely monitored for possible tropical development this weekend. Tom Kloza, chief energy analyst for the Oil Price Information Service, which tracks retail gasoline prices for AAA , said Louisiana has its own oil supply and refineries, which puts it in better shape than most other states. The national average price for a gallon of regular jumped almost 7 cents to $2.59 a gallon on Saturday, according to AAA.
