The crash happened near the 114 mile marker between Georgetown and Lanesville around 9 a.m. Police say a Hummer H2 was going eastbound on I-64 when, for an unknown reason, it crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a Ford Fusion. A tire from one of the vehicles flew off and struck the windshield of another vehicle nearby, but that driver was not hurt, Bauer reported. Traffic was being diverted off the interstate westbound at the Georgetown exit. (more...)

Marc Ma , a former 'Iolani School student, was last seen in June of 2016 while spending time with friends atop the lake. Shortly after the group entered the water the wind picked up, which created tough conditions for the athletes. A robot camera was able to locate a body today in 240 feet of water at Lake Tahoe. The body was tentatively identified as Ma, but the Placer County Coroner's Office still needs to make a positive identification of the body. (more...)
