Hello Games has announced that No Man's Sky players around the world will be treated to the free No Man's Sky: BEYOND update this Summer. The No Man's Sky community expanded significantly, thanks to its launch onto Xbox One in July 2018. Basically, No Man's SkyOnline will allow players everywhere in the game universe to meet and play together.
At the moment, that's more or less all we know about Online, but Hello says that the changes are in response to the game's Next update, which launched previous year.
Watch this space for more information on No Man's Sky Beyond. We'll likely hear more about the rest of the update in the coming weeks. Whilst it will apparently be unlike any other online experience, it won't make No Man's Sky an MMO.
