Video captures woman's apparent abduction from Miami tire shop

Miami police say a woman who was grabbed by a man and forced into a vehicle at an auto body shop Friday has been found safe.

A witness told the station that the man found the woman hiding in the shop's bathroom. Witnesses say the man from the vehicle hit the woman about 20 times, before forcing her into the auto. The police video then cuts to a different angle and shows what appears to be a man leading a struggling woman through the parking garage and forcing her into the vehicle.

Police released the footage in a bid to find the victim, who they described as black woman in her mid 20s or early 30s, and between 5 ft 4 inches and 5 ft 8 inches tall.

"This is someone's daughter, this is someone's sister, someone's family member", said Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz. "We need to bring this young lady back home to safety". We need to apprehend this individual. His Nissan Altima, described as a 2015 or newer, had a paper tag that had partial number of either "CFJ7" or "CFF7".
