Liverpool could offer Milner to Leeds in bid to sign Clarke

According to the same story, 18-year-old Leeds United starlet is now on Klopp's radar as a potential recruit for the summer window.

The youngster was taken unwell during the Whites game against Middlesbrough and had to be stretchered off the bench, but his agent later tweeted that Clarke was fine after spending some time in hospital.

The incident caused a 12 minute delay to the game.

Leeds boss Bielsa told reporters that Clarke seemed to be in better condition before leaving the Riverside Stadium but does not know why he fell ill.

He said on his official Twitter page: "Big thanks to the Middlesbrough medical team and a special mention to Leeds United's Rob Price (head of medicine and performance) for today!"

James Milner has been one of the unsung heroes for Liverpool this season as the midfielder is now playing at right-back with Trent Alexander Arnold out injured. After feeling bad he recovered and when he was taken to the dressing room he was better, as if he had overcome the problem.

He was later taken to hospital before being released on Sunday. "All our thoughts go to the lad Clarke".

Clarke has scored two goals and made two assists in 16 Championship appearances this season, although he has only started four of those games.

The 18-year-old is a product of the Leeds' academy and has been making the right waves in the English second division, in what is his debut campaign.

Boro had opened the scoring in the 47th minute, but Leeds' Kalvin Phillips rose to the occasion, scoring a late, late equaliser deep into added time to secure a point for the visitors.
