Julian Edelman's gnarly playoff beard is officially a thing of the past. She of course brought up his beard and how long he planned to keep it. Edelman said he wasn't sure - the king of T-shirts, Edelman has been selling ones with "MVP" carved into into his beard on his website - and that he was "feeling it out".

She said she would donate $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a pet Edelman project, if he would let her shave it off right then and there. Edelman agreed to match the donation.

The event raised $35,000 for three charities.

Edelman taped an interview with Ellen Degeneres on "The Ellen Show" that aired on Friday.

"I love you, beard", he joked before the big cut.
