You wanted a blue Genie, you got a blue Genie. The 1-minute video teaser, which was also uploaded to YouTube, includes a look at Will Smith as Genie.

A new trailer for Disney's live-action "Aladdin" dropped Sunday night during the 61st Grammy Awards.

Smith shared a few snapshots of his Genie on his Instagram after the trailer aired.

Despite assurance from Smith himself that the beloved character would be the same color as the one voiced by the late Robin Williams in the animated original classic 27 years ago, fans will only rest easy now they've finally laid eyes on him in all his CGI glory.
