Woman in vegetative state who gave birth is tribal member

Hacienda HealthCare CEO Bill Timmons resigned on Monday, with immediate effect, and his resignation was accepted unanimously by the board of directors. The facility has up to 74 patient beds, according to federal records, while state records show that some patients have lived at the Hacienda facility for decades.

"This matter is now under investigation by the Phoenix Police Department", Sergeant Tommy Thompson told Reuters when asked about the media reports.

Several sources close to the case told Arizona's Family that there is much more to be uncovered about the abuse allegations at this facility.

The woman's identity has not been reported, and it's not known if she has a family or a guardian.

A female patient living at a Hacienda HealthCare facility reportedly gave birth December 29 although the staff was unaware the woman was pregnant.

In a statement, board member Gary Orman said Hacienda "will accept nothing less than a full accounting of this absolutely horrifying situation".

A woman who has been kept in a vegetative state for a decade at the Phoenix Hacienda HealthCare facility gave birth to a baby boy just days after Christmas, and now police are investigating for sexual assault.

Officials say they are committed to cooperating with the police to "uncover the facts in this deeply disturbing, but unprecedented situation".

The outlet also reported that the patient has been in a vegetative state for at least a decade after almost drowning.

Michigan's defensive line was a noted strength the past few seasons under Mattison's leadership. He was the coach of the Bucs in 2012 and 2013 after spending 11 seasons as Rutgers' head coach.

Orman continued: "And we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety of every single one of our patients and our employees".

"Trust has been severed, period", she said.

About Hacienda HealthCare, Cesena said: "Trust has been broken". In January 2018, state investigators said the issues "have been corrected", People reported.

The Arizona Department of Health Services said it had sent inspectors to check on patients at the facility and had implemented "heightened safety measures".

Meanwhile, San Carlos Apache Police Department Chief Alejandro Benally said the department will assist Phoenix Police in any way possible, and the matter falls under the jurisdiction of Phoenix Police.

The CBS source also claimed the facility has introduced a new rule that male staff members are banned from seeing a female patient without a female staff member after the incident.

Hacienda HealthCare is a private company with 40 programs serving 4,500 patients a year, the majority of whom are children and young adults.

Since the news of the incident broke, parents of patients at the Phoenix-based health care facility have come forward, expressing their concerns. "Whether it's an employee or someone from the outside, the facility has an obligation to protect residents".
