According to various reports Wednesday, Freddie Kitchens will be promoted in Cleveland after a strong showing as offensive coordinator in the second half of the season. Under the new leadership, the Browns went 5-3 to finish the season, while the offense and Baker Mayfield took off. Once it became clear that Riley wasn't leaving the Sooners, promoting their offensive coordinator must have seemed like the best option. In eight games under Kitchens, Mayfield completed 68.4 percent of his passes for 2,254 yards, 19 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
