Alastair Campbell Tells Corbyn: "You Can’t End Austerity And Have Brexit"

Arlene Foster leader of the Democratic Unionist Party, appears on the BBC's Marr Show in London Britain

A second European Union referendum will become "inevitable" if Theresa May loses a crunch Commons vote on her Brexit deal and refuses to call a general election, Labour's John McDonnell has warned.

'The ITV offer seemed a sensible one, it reaches a wider audience and the timing looked good to me because it's not inconveniencing people who may wish to watch other things later in the evening and we should always have respect for viewers, ' Corbyn said.

Speaking to reporters on her flight to the G20 summit in Argentina, the Prime Minister said the trade deal will be important for the rest of the world.

Pressed on whether Labour would again campaign to Remain, he said there would have to be a debate within the party.

She is also expected to make a speech on 11 December, before MPs vote on the deal.

Four of the parliament's five parties issued a joint statement saying they were working together to agree a single motion for the debate to represent "the overwhelming view" of MSPs.

Labour's front bench has tabled an amendment saying that the party can not support the agreement, as it fails to provide for a customs union and "strong single market" deal.

Another year, another decrease in life expectancy in the US
Though constant, the rate has increased over time from about 10 suicides per 100,000 in 1999 to 14 per 100,000 in 2017. The suicide death rate last year was the highest it's been in at least 50 years, according to USA government records.

"We wouldn't be contemplating either a general election or a People's Vote, another referendum, unless, you know, Mrs May's deal goes down in the Commons".

She also refused to discuss the possible options if her deal is unable to get through Parliament. They voted to Leave.

The ultimate gamble for the Prime Minister, who has to hope that voters will, via the ballot box, back her plan. He is set to say: "In politics, we can not always have the luxury of doing what we want for ourselves - but we have an abiding duty to do what is right for our country". "It's hard to judge each stage, but that's the sequence I think that we'll inevitably go through over this period".

Andrea Leadsom, another leading government Brexiteer, still has significant reservations with the deal - specifically the backstop for avoiding a hard border on the island of Ireland - allies of the MP have told Business Insider.

"I mean, at the moment I think it was the Daily Mail today that had a poll which said that the public now want a second referendum, a People's Vote, by a majority of 48% to 34% so it's very clear where the public's heading".
