YouTube Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

That could change as early as this week.

Some of the notifications users have been receiving suggest that the app is coming to the Switch on November 8, thanks to the dates on various screens you can see at the link above. The very same website that jumped the gun and listed the official title for the work in progress Yoshi game as Yoshi's Crafted World, lending credence to the post.

Either way, November 8 isn't that too far, so time will eventually tell if this is all true or is just a cruel hoax for Switch users aching for a decent YouTube client on their machine.

Nintendo still hasn't and will probably never explain the reasoning behind the lack of major video streaming apps on its hybrid console, but this rumor will at least calm some of the anger and confusion from fans. Also, the same rumors popped up on a French site, Nintendo Home, where users reported they were getting YouTube app suggestions whenever they searched for Nintendo's game site.

New Mazda3 and Skyactiv-X Engine Set to Debut
More information about the fourth-generation Mazda3 is expected on 28th November, when the LA show opens to the press. This Skyactiv-X engine should deliver more torque and improved fuel economy compared to current Skyactiv-G engines.

The Nintendo Switch is an immensely popular console. I mean, Google is still determined to make YouTube available everywhere, and Nintendo is no stranger to YouTube apps on systems like the 3DS and Wii U. So naturally, it is coming. But now it appears that the launch of a YouTube app for the platform is imminent, according to a Polygon report. Surprisingly, it doesn't really function well for anything beyond that, thanks to a dearth of entertainment and media apps. Maybe, the users will get some limited access instead of complete freedom to run these live streaming apps.

A major streaming service like YouTube will certainly be welcomed on the platform.

The console is meant for gaming.
