Innovative drug extends breast cancer survival, study finds

One in 180 women who got a mammography previous year was diagnosed with breast cancer, with about 11 diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer each day, statistics showed.

Hundreds of breast cancer survivors, their loved ones and supporters walked the boardwalk to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research.

Kim Robertson, from Island Park, is fighting the disease and was at the event supported by more than 100 friends and relatives. "This is the first time I am donating hair, and I did it because I wanted to help cancer patients who deserve to have wigs".
