Selena Gomez receiving mental health treatment

Members of her family then drove her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, before being released several days later.

However, this isn't Selena's first time attending a facility for her mental health, the star who is always open about how she is feeling, completed a two-week programme in NYC earlier this year, reportedly receiving "dialectical behaviour therapy".

Selena Gomez is now seeking mental health treatment after reportedly suffering an emotional breakdown.

According to TMZ Selena was admitted into the treatment facility to treat ongoing issues related to anxiety and depression. Apparently, Selena wanted to leave the hospital before doctors advised her to, and when they didn't let her, she "freaked out" and had an "emotional breakdown", the site reports.

Selena was then taken to an East Coast psychiatric facility, where she is now receiving dialectical behavior therapy. "She's doing better now and is seeking treatment on the East Coast", a source told PEOPLE.
