Samsung launches phones with quad, triple cameras

Well, it is finally here and we will be discussing this and more in the official announcement. But will that be the reality?

What do you think about the new Galaxy A9's price?

You'd be forgiven for getting a bit confused.

But, the most eye-catching thing about this smartphone has to be its ridiculously long camera module which houses all four sensors, each with its own objective.

Huawei started a trend with its triple-camera P20 Pro this year. Numbers are not everything, however, so let us dive a bit further into the cameras and how the magic happens. It is followed by 10-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The horizontal camera system has a main 24-megapixel f/1.7 main camera at the top of the alignment, which is the sensor that will be used for generic images and low-light shots. Lastly, we have a 5MP depth-sensing sensor, which will be responsible for snapping images with a Bokeh effect and provides features like Live Focus.

Taking advantage of the four cameras are 19 image enhancement modes. The Galaxy A9 (2018) simply managed to be the first real-world product to do it.

Sears could file for bankruptcy as soon as this week
CNBC earlier reported that the company was arranging a bankruptcy loan, known as debtor-in-possession financing. Shares of real estate investment trusts (REIT) exposed to Sears properties also fell Wednesday.

Whether the four cameras can produce respectable pictures, however, is another story.

The Galaxy A9 (2018) might not be a flagship, but it keeps pace with its more powerful siblings in more than a few ways. Currently, it is running the Android 8.0 Oreo update and it uses a Type-C USB port for charging purposes. Bezels around the sides are kept to a minimum, and there is no notch in sight.

The phone will come with plenty of storage, at 128GB (6GB RAM) and up to 512GB of expandable memory. Those include the Snapdragon 710 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and a 3,800 mAh battery.

Even the looks are subjectively better than the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus'.

The company's new Galaxy A9 smartphone is available in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink.

The latest addition to the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones comes hot off the heels of the Galaxy A7 announced just weeks ago.

As for a release date, the Galaxy A9 will be releasing in select markets sometime in November.
