Jabrill Peppers Blasts DJ Durkin for Extreme 'Bully Coaching' Tactics

Jabrill Peppers of the Michigan Wolverines leaves the field after a 20-10 win over the Indiana Hoosiers

McNair, a 19-year-old offensive lineman, suffered heatstroke during a team workout May 29 and died June 13.

DJ Durkin, the head football coach, was placed on paid administrative leave August 11 as the school investigates McNair's death and allegations of abuse and disparagement in the program, ESPN reported.

The school has accepted full responsibility for McNair's death, but the future of the team's head coach remains in question. "[Durkin] shouldn't be able to work with anybody else's kid. Never missed a practice, worked hard every day at all games, never missed a game", Martin McNair said.

In their son's honor, McNair's parents have set up the Jordan McNair Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to "promote awareness, educate, and advocate for parents and student-athletes about heat-related illness at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels".

The parents of deceased Maryland OL Jordan McNair have publicly stated that they do not want Maryland HC D.J. Durkin to retain his job.

Maryland also parted ways with strength and conditioning coach Rick Court, who was accused of throwing weights and forcing an underweight player to overeat until he vomited.

"This particular injury isn't something that just happened to Jordan; it happens all the time", Martin McNair said. Keep him safe.' They did anything but that.

Diablo 3 coming to Nintendo Switch with Zelda-themed items this fall
Most of those warriors who directly faced Hell's armies - and were fortunate enough to survive - went mad from their experiences. The Eternal Collection for the Nintendo Switch incorporates the system's flexibility and versatility into its design.

Ultimately, these failings caused McNair's death. 'This is our opportunity to speak for all the parents that haven't had access to a forum such as this'.

He said: 'We have learned that Jordan did not receive appropriate medical care, and mistakes were made by some of our athletic training personnel'. Loh said he and athletic director Damon Evans visited with McNair's family in Baltimore earlier Tuesday "to express on behalf of the university our apology for the loss of their son". "Walters found that the emergency response plan was not appropriately followed" and that McNair's symptoms "were not properly identified or treated".

"The athletic training staff, not the coaching staff-they basically misdiagnosed the situation", Loh said at the news conference.

The board will hold a conference call at 10 a.m. Friday to hear updates about actions the University of Maryland, College Park took after McNair's death. Three others, including Court, were placed on leave the day before.

Billy Murphy, an attorney representing the family, has told multiple outlets that a lawsuit against the school is likely. 247 Sports reported Thursday afternoon that the family won't discuss a potential settlement with the school until Durkin is no longer the coach.

'We have hired an external review team to take a look at this, but as additional information comes forward, we will do what's appropriate, ' Evans said.

A report on McNair's death is expected by September 15.
