Prince Harry and Meghan kick off first overseas trip in Ireland

Cameras captured Meghan becoming fast friends with a toddler who looked to have a keen interest in her hair, seeming to show that the Duchess of Sussex is already great with children. Although always smartly turned out, in the first few weeks following her wedding, Markle relied on safe outfits in tasteful shades of pink and beige that, while undeniably neat, were a tad unadventurous.

Later in the day at Croke Park, Meghan rocked a black Givenchy suit with Sarah Flint pumps.

Britain's Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, sign the visitors book in the office of the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, at the start of a two-day visit to Dublin, Ireland July 10, 2018.

The royal couple visited Áras An Uachtaráin on day two of their first overseas trip together this morning after attending a garden party at the residence of the British Ambassador last night.

It's been a busy couple of days for the 36 year-old, having just come off the back of the royal christening of Kate Middleton and Prince William's youngest son, Prince Louis. Finally, to meet the Irish President Michael Higgins, Markle donned a taupe Roland Mouret dress with a draped folding skirt.

For the evening's engagement, the Duchess of Sussex swapped her earlier forest green Givenchy co-ord for a seriously chic sleeveless black dress by Emilia Wickstead.

Fiona Moore from Dublin described the Duchess as "relaxed" and said: "'I'm a fan of Suits and I said to her that I miss it and she said 'so do I".

Harry said his grandmother has since spoken of the fantastic welcome she received.

The duchess clearly made the most of her Ireland trip - and looked stunning in the process!

Ready for their big moment, Meghan and Harry pulled the bell pull in unison, giving out one hearty ring-and then, uh, they weren't sure what to do. To kick off the tour, the Duke and Duchess delve into the abundant history of Ireland with a visit to a Gaelic Sports Festival, Trinity College and meeting the President of Ireland.
