Wireless Festival falls silent to remember 77 young people murdered in London

Drake made a surprise appearance at the Wireless Festival in London on Sunday after DJ Khaled cancelled due to "travel issues".

Fans then speculated as to who would take his place, with the Wireless Festival taking to Twitter promising something special.

He was also the only African artist to take the stage.

DJ Khaled's headline slot at the London festival was thought to be the chart-topping artist's only United Kingdom performance this year.

"Drake saving the day at #Wireless.!", cheered one fan, while another tweeted, "Drake turning up at #Wireless to replace @djkhaled is the best substitution of this #WorldCup period".

Fans had been asking questions after seeing a video of him in an Instagram post just hours ago in an infinity pool on holiday in Mexico.
