Ex-Bengals CB Pacman Jones attacked by employee at airport

Adam Jones was attacked in an airport Tuesday night

Longtime Bengals cornerback/return man and current free agent Adam "Pacman" Jones was attacked by an employee in Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Tuesday evening, per TMZ.

TMZ says the employee, Frank Ragin, made a gesture toward the former Bengal as he was walking through the airport.

"Mr. Ragin eventually struck Mr. Jones with a closed fist", cops said, according to TMZ, "... causing a laceration to Mr. Jones' face.

The altercation was captured on video. The verbal spat turned physical when Ragin punched Jones.

Ragin was charged with two counts of battery and was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police said Jones, 34, then pushed Ragin to the ground.

Most recently, Jones pleaded guilty to obstructing police following a January 2017 altercation in downtown Cincinnati. He missed the entire 2007 season, banned by Roger Goodell. The NFL suspended Jones for one game for a violation of its personal conduct policy. In 2014, he was named First-team All-Pro and in 2015 he made his only Pro Bowl appearance.

Jones, who missed the entire 2007 season for numerous violations of the NFL's personal conduct policy, has spent the past eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals but he is now a free agent.
