"Ozil Bent, Disappointed and Offended"- Father

The father of German football player Mesut Ozil urged his son on Sunday to quit the country's national squad after he was "made the scapegoat" for their shock first-round defeat at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

The World champions finished bottom of Group F in a disastrous Russian Federation 2018 campaign and while several stars underperformed, the Arsenal midfielder become a notable scapegoat from media and former players.
