This Is How the Warriors Won the 2018 NBA Championship

NBA Finals: Kevin Durant’s heroics against Cavaliers pull Warriors to brink of championship repeat

Should he go that route, James could sign with a team in early July. And with the Warriors up by two with 50 seconds left in the game, Durant hit a three-pointer dagger that sealed the win for his squad.

"The one thing I've always done is considered my family - especially where my boys are at this point in their age". "I remember sitting in this room three years ago; it seemed like a dream".

"The fact that they got here surprised me, frankly".

"Not for me to answer that question", he said.

There's a tug-of-war going on between James' brain and heart. Four years after returning to Cleveland from Miami, James has delivered what he promised: a championship for the city of Cleveland.

"Miami and James would need to convince Cleveland to execute a sign-and-trade, or James would need to opt in the final year of his contract (for $35 million) and persuade Cleveland to trade him".

Many guessed the L.A. Lakers will be his next team. It's becoming more fair by the year. Other teams can only offer 4-year deals worth around $150 million. The Cavs have the No 8 overall pick in this month's draft as an asset to perhaps package with All-Star forward Kevin Love, who could finally be moved after being the subject of trade rumours for years.

The comment was a concession of sorts from Gilbert, who understands what James means to his franchise and what he represents to Northeast Ohio - hope.

Here's what he brings to the Warriors: 26.4 points per game in this regular season, 29 points per game in the playoffs, a 43-point explosion in Game 3 that will go into NBA Finals lore and a triple-double in the series clincher to cap it all off. They can add role players and young projects, but they cannot add a marquee free agent without massively disrupting the core of a team that is still inside a championship-winning window.

Toyota to invest US$1b in Grab's latest funding round
In March, Grab boosted its grip on Southeast Asia by buying Uber's business in the region. Toyota is investing a further $US1 billion in ride-sharing giant Grab.

In the end, James may decide home is still the sweetest spot.

This series has been a painful reminder to James that the great teams have more than one king.

It should be noted, though, that the man tasked with putting together these Warriors - general manager Bob Myers - does not care if he is "ruining the league" by assembling a preponderance of talent in Oakland.

There's heavy speculation that he lands in Los Angeles, likely with the Lakers, a move that would single-handedly revive one of the NBA's strongest brands and put them in the National Basketball Association championship conversation. According to Spotrac, the Lakers have the most cap space.

"They made so many runs over the course of 48 minutes but our will took over".

The key to Golden State's enormous luxury of talent is that the players have agreed to take less money to make themselves something close to unstoppable. Really, James needs a lot of help to pull off a victory for Game 4.

This feels like a long shot. That likely would be needed to re-sign Paul and/or Clint Capela. Can he shed Ryan Anderson's contract?

Don't rule out the Houston Rockets, who pushed Golden State to a game seven in the post-season.

It would be tricky, but not impossible.
