Trump says Cavs, Warriors won’t be invited to White House

After the majority of Philadelphia Eagles refused to visit The White House, Donald Trump disinvited the entire team.

"I think we'll have the Caps ... we'll see", Mr. Trump told reporters at the White House, naming other championship teams that have previously visited him.

After last year's National Basketball Association title victory, Trump withdrew an invitation to the Warriors after Curry said he was considering not going. It seemed to be a moot point, as LeBron James said Tuesday that neither his Cavaliers nor the Warriors would accept a visit.

He said: "If they want to be here, it's the greatest place on Earth".

Durant teamed up with stars like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green make the Warriors an unbeatable dream team.

"I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants to be invited anyway", he continued.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Trump had "made it pretty clear he's going to try to divide us ... for political gain".

Trump said he would consider pardon applications submitted by players who have participated in protests during the anthem.

England's Adam Yates, who's twin Simon wore the pink jersey at the Giro d'Italia for 13 stages in May, was third on the day at 15 seconds.

Speaking with the media on an off day Tuesday, members of the Cavaliers and Warriors sounded off on the situation between the National Football League champs and the president, and leading the charge was James.

The Minnesota Lynx also weren't invited to the White House, but they instead committed to a day of service, giving out shoes to a school in need in the D.C. area.

"By not going, hopefully that will inspire some change in terms of what we tolerate in this country", Curry said.

In his usual arrogant fashion, Trump went on to brag about his friendship with New England Patriots' Robert Kraft, and how much he enjoyed hosting the Patriots at the White House.

"When someone says they don't want to come to the White House, he disinvites them so the photo op doesn't look bad", he said. Most recently, LeBron James spoke on Trump dis-inviting the Eagles. "I mean, I'm not surprised", he said during a press conference, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Curry concurred with James, saying "I agree with 'Bron".

Essentially, the team just ignored Trump.
