How might National Football League discipline 49ers Reuben Foster?
Foster now moved past the second set of separate charges involving marijuana that were dropped on Friday morning, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee. Earlier this week, a judge in Santa Clara County threw out the two charges relating to domestic violence that had been waged against Foster. On Wednesday, a judge in Santa Clara County chose to drop two felony charges against Foster that stemmed from an incident in February that involved his ex-girlfriend.
The Tuscaloosa county district court clerk said Foster must pay court costs and a $100 bail bond fee as conditions of his case being dismissed, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
In that case, Foster still faces one misdemeanor charge for alleged possession of an assault rifle that was discovered in the bathroom of his Los Gatos home. That process is common among first-time offenders, Brown added.
Following that news, charges against Foster were dropped in California and now his lingering issue in Alabama has also been resolved.

Celtics push James, Cavs to brink with Game 5 win
The Cavs also were just 5-of-17 shooting off James' passes, the lowest percentage for Cleveland in the past three postseasons. Tatum has been excellent throughout the playoffs for the Celtics , leading the team in scoring at 18 points per game.
Although this a huge break for Foster, he could still be disciplined by the National Football League under the substance-abuse policy despite the charges being dropped. "We will continue to monitor the remaining misdemeanor charge".
If the league wants to make something of Foster's gun-possession charge, apparently that is still on the table as it's all that remains on his court docket.
Deputy district attorney Kevin Smith had noted the weapon contained 31 bullets when police retrieved it on the bathroom floor of Foster's home upon his February 11 arrest. The gun was purchased legally in Alabama.
Foster rejoined his 49ers teammates Thursday after missing the previous five-plus weeks of the offseason program.
