Black Ops 4 Battle Royale Mode May Feature Less Than 100 Players

Activision held its big reveal event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 yesterday, and this year's installment of Call of Duty looks to be changing things up big time.

Dan Bunting, joint head of production company Treyarch, added: "When I first started on multiplayer in the Call of Duty franchise, 10 percent of our population was playing competitive multiplayer". The Multiplayer mode will also include Solo Missions, which are skill-based missions set within the same narrative world of Black Ops campaigns, between the events of Black Ops II and Black Ops III. He said that the new battle royale mode called Blackout still has some big details to hammer down, including the player count. Epic Games, the developer, is charging money only for the co-op version of the game that's played offline but is allowing everyone to login and fight in the 100 player modes where the last one standing wins.

English Premier League: Swansea City season review
Swansea's relegation this season was the culmination of the instability at the club in the last few campaigns. The Venezuelan worldwide scored seven times in a side that has struggled to create chances this season.

Treyarch will have to spend the time up to release to figure out how to balance the size demands from players with the technical demands to make that happen. Treyarch says that this their most ambitious Black Ops game so far.

This year, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will also introduce a battle royale mode called Blackout. "It's a collision course bringing together the worlds of Black Ops in an all-out survival and elimination experience featuring weapons; equipment; land, sea, and air vehicles; RC-XDs; traps; and even Zombies in an experience that is uniquely Black Ops". You love the Zombies characters, you can play as them. It's therefore likely that the Black Ops 4 beta release date will be sometime during August. As we've already reporeted, Black Ops 4 won't feature any single-player campaign and will come with three Zombie maps, a traditional multiplayer mode, and a battle-royale mode called Blackout. It'll feature the largest Call of Duty map ever created, and players will be able to compete against each other throughout various locations that appeared in previous Black Ops games.
