TI Arrested For Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness

The performer was held on disorderly conduct and public drunkenness charges

WSB-TV also reported that at some point, T.I. called an unnamed friend for help, but his friend was also apprehended when the cops arrived, as he had an outstanding warrant for his own arrest.

Ch2 was the 1st to confirm the breaking news about TI - Clifford Harris - arrested this morning.

According to police, the guard at Eagles's Landing Country Club called police on T.I. and a friend.

Police say the rapper T.I. was arrested early Wednesday on disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and simple assault charges as he tried to enter his gated community outside Atlanta. We're also told T.I. did NOT make physical contact with the security guard, but the guard feared he would be hit during the dispute.

Shenmue 3 Release Date Delayed to 2019 in Shocking Development
A teaser trailer released back in 2017 was criticized for the bizarrely blank facial expressions of its characters. Looks like we won't be able to play Shenmue III in 2019, perhaps not surprisingly.

His attorney, Steve Sadow, released a statement saying the rapper was wrongfully arrested.

Rapper T.I. was arrested earlier Wednesday morning in Stock Bridge, Georgia, outside of his residence's gated community. He claims the guard was asleep when his client arrived at the guardhouse and it took "some time to wake up the sleeping guard".

Despite the headline-generating bust, Tip didn't spend much time in police custody or have to stand before a judge. Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry. He says he demanded the guard's name, but the guy refused. The guard continued to refuse entry without justification. Words were exchanged and apparently the guard and/or supervisor called the police.

T.I. has since spoken out on his arrest, telling The Blast that he believes the charges were racially motivated as local law enforcement are "white cops in a very white area". Previous year he used his star power to fuel a boycott of Houston's restaurant after allegations of racial discrimination surfaced. "I guess y'all been hearing all the nonsense", he said, wearing the same shirt he wore in his mugshot. So, whatever they're concerned about right now, those are the things that stand the most opportunity for change.
