Ex-lawmaker: Naked man tackled on Alaska Airlines flight

Naked Passenger 'Yelling and Waving' On Alaska Airlines Plane Detained: Report

A Monday flight from Seattle to Anchorage, Alaska, caused a stir due to freakish behavior by one passenger.

The passenger reportedly removed his clothes and ran the length of the cabin about 20 minutes before landing.

Johnny Ellis tweeted about what he saw as the plane was approaching Anchorage, according to the Associated Press. He yelled, waved and created commotion before he was handled by co-passengers and locked him up in the loo. Upon landing at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, the passenger was taken into custody and transported to a nearby hospital. Some fear and distress at passengers.

In a statement, Alaska Airlines said the aircraft landed "without incident", with law enforcement boarding the aircraft at the gate to detain the man.

Here's A Tesla Towing A Qantas Dreamliner
The achievement was announced after the ModelX P100D pulled a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the tarmac for 300 metres. Although it's rated to tow 2500kg, the Model X managed to pull the 130,000 kg airplane almost 300 meters.

Ellis, who was the second to last to deboard the plane as he was waiting for a wheelchair, further wrote on Twitter: "Police boarded to take naked guy away".

Passengers were horrified as a completely naked man streaked up and down a plane during a mid-air flight from Seattle, Washington state, to Anchorage, Alaska. In fact, an Alaska Airlines flight was forced to return to Anchorage after a naked male passenger barricaded himself in the bathroom just three months ago. We thought [he was on] drugs not alcohol. However, Ellis also notes that the man may have been having a psychotic episode because "some said [that one of the guys] who chased and tackled him was actually his father".

Ellis later followed up with theories on what might have happened-but said the captain ended up being "extra nice" to passengers on the flight. Flight attendants were debriefing.

Yahoo senior writer Daniel Roberts was also on the flight and commented on the incident on Twitter.
