Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart tour coming to Sugar Land

Legendary comedians Dave Chappelle and Jon Stewart have teamed up for a co-headlining standup tour this June in select USA cities.

The comedy big-hitters are playing just seven dates in United States three cities - Boston, Houston and El Paso - next month.

The event will find the two touching on some of today's hottest topics while following up a series of shows from Chappelle, including a set at New York City's Radio City Music Hall past year. From there, they will head to Texas to perform two shows at the Smart Financial Centre in Houston, and two shows at El Paso's Chavez Theatre. Stewart used the time to bash white supremacists and President Trump during the show.

Stewart announced in July that he would be dropping two new stand-up specials on HBO. Chappelle has been hard at work releasing four comedy specials in conjunction with Netflix.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster's "Verified Fan" platform. Dates for the new specials have not been announced, but they will mark Stewart's first return to stand-up in 20 years. Registration for the Verified Fan program will be available Monday, May 14 through Wednesday, May 16 at 10 pm EST. That "unlocks" tickets, which then go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
