OU President David Boren suffers minor stroke during Bob Stoops' statue unveiling

University of Oklahoma president David Boren had a medical episode right before the unveiling of a statue honoring former Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops, Boren was taken away on a stretcher. Boren's conditions is not immediately known, but athletic director Joe Castiglione said Boren was moved as a "precautionary" measure. Thanks to the timely treatment of the OU team with contemporary therapies, he is now in good spirits and enjoying dinner. "No further updates are available at this time".

Watch a video of Boren's speech shortly before he was transported away from the ceremony for medical care.
