Several killed in fiery Long Island wreck that involved stolen car

At least five people were killed Wednesday in a crash on Long Island, according to an official with the Ridge Fire Department.

One person was killed in the stolen auto and another in that vehicle was hospitalized following the crash at 11:20 a.m. on Middle Country Road, police said.

The crash happened shortly after 11 a.m. on State Route 25 in Ridge, the police said.

"We're not certain as to the order of the collision and exactly what happened", Mr. Cameron said at a news conference Wednesday.
