Lampard: Chelsea need another striker

Frank Lampard wants to see Chelsea bring in a new striker in the January transfer window.

Despite the Spaniard settling in very quickly with nine goals in 17 appearances for the club, the former Premier League victor believes that the Stamford Bridge side need someone to compliment the 25-year-old.

Speaking on BT Sport, Chelsea's all-time leading scorer Lampard, who netted 211 goals for the Blues, said: "World class for me is affecting games at Champions League and worldwide level over a period of time and Hazard is certainly in that bracket".

Hazard scored his sixth goal in seven appearances for the Blues as they coasted into the Champions League knockout stages with a thumping 4-0 win over Qarabag.

"If you're looking at Morata there, Michy Batshuayi has come in and had moments where he's scored but seemingly Conte doesn't trust him".

'Then you have to play [Eden] Hazard there and change a lot of things.
