Delhi: Five Killed in Shahdara Over Alleged Property Dispute

Five people including four women of a single family were found dead near Jindal Oil Mills in Mansarovar Park area of Delhi's Shahdara on Saturday. The police control room received a call about the incident around 7 am.

The four deceased - reportedly from the same family - were identified as Nupur Jindal (35), Anjali Jindal (33), Urmila (65) and Sangeet Gupta (43).

Preliminary investigation showed there was "no forced entry" into the house, the police officer said. The security guard of the house Rakesh was also found dead.A team of police led by the area Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahadara) Nupur Prasad rushed to the spot and started the probe.

While reports claimed that the murder may be linked to a possible property dispute, The Times of India report noted that the police is still interrogating the family members to understand the possible reasons behind the killings.
