J&K: Five Injured in Grenade Attack in Sopore

Five persons including two civilians were injured when suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in north Kashmir's Sopore on Sunday morning.

The incident took place at 9:35 am.

But the grenade exploded in the return throw, Two special police officers (SPOs) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and four civilians suffered minor injuries, a police officer said.

Another TV report claims that a total of five persons - two CRPF jawans, one policeman and two civilians - have been injured in the grenade attack, in which a CRPF camp near the State Bank of India, was targeted.
