Indian shares end at record closing high; SBI top gainer

NSE Nifty ended 62 points higher at 10,077.1 points and BSE Sensex settled up over 200 points at 32,514.94 points

The broader NSE Nifty closed up 0.63 per cent at 10,077.10, a record closing high, and notched up a monthly gain of 5.84 per cent.

State Bank of India closed higher by 4.58% at Rs 312.80 per share.BSE Mid-cap index closed higher by 0.39% at 15,389.

On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (3.47%), Dr Reddy'S Laboratories (3.11%), I T C (2.09%), Cipla (1.18%), Coal India (0.99%), and G A I L (India) (0.80%) were the major losers in the Sensex.

However, the BSE market breadth was bearish with 1,438 declines and 1,247 advances.
