Katie Taylor absolutely stole the show in U.S. debut last night

Ireland's Katie Taylor

Olympic gold medallist Taylor won her sixth straight professional fight after a one-sided domination from bell to bell at the Barclays Center.

Katie Taylor made her American debut on Saturday night, but she has already set her sights on bigger paydays.

She added that she hopes to return to America for another fight in the future, including making an appearance at Madison Square Garden on St Patrick's Day.

"We are looking at September again for Taylor, maybe on the NXTGEN show at York Hall or maybe an worldwide card again out here".

"It is hard getting her matched, but I think we are one fight away from challenging for a world title", promoter Eddie Hearn told Sky after the bout.

From the start, the 31-year-old dominated and only got stronger as the fight progressed.

Trump pushes out Priebus, names John Kelly new chief of staff

After 6-month run, Trump ousts chief of staff Reince Priebus
The president eventually emerged, umbrella in hand, and delivered a brief statement on the runway as driving rain poured. The president had considered others for the job, including political operatives David Urban and Wayne Berman.

'The experience here has been great and the reception was fantastic, I hope it's the first of many fights over here.

Taylor was humble in victory pointing out that she was caught with a few "silly" shots and how she was "a bit sloppy at times".

After three punishing rounds, Clarkson's corner had seen enough and threw in the towel to give Taylor a first stateside win.

"There are things I definitely need to improve on but overall I thought it was a good performance". But it is the first time she has been stopped.

John Duddy and Michael Conlan have fought in the famed NY venue in recent years, and Taylor wants to join them as soon as possible.

Taylor can only beat what is put in front of her and has had to rely on male sparring partners in the United States to keep her at world level.
